Western Hills Builder’s Supply is one of the rare businesses that has accomplished both and is still going strong. Founded all the way back in 1920, we are owned and operated by the fourth generation of the Ratterman Family.

 

We started off humbly as a coal distributor and feed supply shop and have grown into a major building supply distributor for Ohio and the entire Tri-State Area. Beginning with a location on Ferguson Road, the WHBS has grown into a major building supply provider for commercial and residential builders across the Tri-State Area.

We personally load customers' vehicles with all their purchased items to make your visit to our store as simple as possible. If you don’t have a vehicle big enough for pickup, we have an entire fleet of our own that can deliver to all areas of greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and the entire Tri-State area.

Education for Our Customers

While some of the clients we work with are large-scale contractors with decades of experience installing the products we offer, we realize that isn’t the only kind of customer we have. Many people who come into our stores are dipping their toes in the water for the first time, and we are sympathetic to those types. We offer DIY lessons and seminars quite often for locals to come and learn how to handle some of the most common jobs, such as paver or retaining walls, all by themselves.
